My most important role in life is a dual one of being a good husband and father. I have the privilege of being married to my wife Jennifer (Hise) Mehaffey of Mobile, AL. for 17 years. She and I first met as members of the Auburn University Marching Band. Jennifer has walked alongside me and supported me at every step. Jennifer and I are the proud parents of three amazing girls: Lacy (10), Ellie (7) and Avery (5).

We are an extremely close family that values making memories together. From enjoying the outdoors to weekly Daddy Daughter Date Nights, we embrace any opportunity to make a memory.

Scouting has given our family an incredible gift of a lifelong adventure and we are excited about what the future has in store.

In addition to playing in the outdoors with my family, I enjoy golfing, sporting clays and hunting. Jennifer and I are also both avid college football fans.

JEnnifer

Jennifer graduated from Auburn University with a degree in Public Relations. Her background is in B2B marketing and communications. Besides being a full-time mother, Jennifer started an at-home business in 2012 providing personalized embroidered clothing and household items. She also continues as a part-time freelancer of marketing and communication services for the B2B market. Jennifer enjoys being actively involved in our girls’ schools and serving kids at our church.  

LAcy

Lacy is a kind-hearted fifth grader with a love for reading and crafting. She enjoys participating on her fifth grade cheerleading squad, as well as being a part of her school’s annual theater production. 

Ellie

Ellie is a vibrant first grader who loves all things fancy. She is active in gymnastics and shares her sister’s excitement for being part of the annual school play. 

Avery

Our joyous Avery is in her last year of pre-school and is excited about joining her big sisters at “Big Kid” school this fall as a Kindergartner. Avery loves all things gymnastics and is a member of the “Super Tots” competitive gymnastics team at a local gym.
